Is Ron Paul electable?

Way to go, Dr. Paul. Maybe we should really be asking if Fox News is watchable.

I am a 100% supporter of Ron Paul. Accusations of his mistreatment by the MSM, however, are simply exaggerated once specific acts of unfairness are aggregated into a general proposition in this vein.

The question of electability is perfectly legitimate, and I cannot see any malice in it whatsoever. To the contrary, it gave Ron Paul an excellent starting point to shine by explaining his wonderful thoughts. And he did shine.

Unlike an earlier debate (I think in Florida), where the supposedly hostile questions, would have given him just as much opportunity to shine. He had a relatively lame day, and missed some of his chances to stand out admirably vis-a-vis his competitors, while the booing and heckling of a rather large and audible fraction of the overall crowd seemed to confuse both Ron Paul (to some extent) and his defenders against the "MSM conspiracy".

The fact of the matter is, we still have a long way to go; Ron Paul is not known and comprehended enough by a sufficiently large proportion of the population; Ron Paul and his movement are not always at their best, and the quality of media output should be assessed in a differentiating way, case-by-case - an approach typically taken by Ron Paul himself on all issues he is confronted with.
