OK, Democrats, very soon you will have control of the Senate, the House of Representatives, the White House, and at least some new Federal Courts.
Guess what? YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE. Whatever happens in the next four years, IT'S YOUR FAULT. Don't even think of trying to blame it on the Republicans, or anyone else.
Democrats, PUT UP OR SHUT UP. Turn this country into a paradise of peace, freedom, prosperity and justice, or get the hell out.

Why do you think the democrats are looking for a scapegoat for failure that they haven't committed?
This statement has a certain tone of blame before any faults have been committed. You are threatening a government that hasn't taken power yet.
However, I agree with your attitude of holding a government accountable for its actions. The problem I see here is that your expectations may be unrealistic and may not actually assess whether the government is responsible for the problems. You say to turn this country into a paradise of peace, freedom and prosperity. Now that's a great ideal to shoot for, but when has that ever been attained for an extended period of time.
My concern is that with this new government people will be expecting too much and if they don't get all they expect then others in political system will play the blame game and manipulate those to think that the democrats are full of empty promises and they will obtain office with corrupt intentions.
Now, we'll have to see if this government make good decisions and if the state of the country will be repaired.
The bottom line is this, these are going to be difficult times, what we need is to do is unify in our quest for solutions to the problems we face instead of tear each other down if such problems aren't solved for us by those in power.
We dont need open carry in Texas. We already have it. Its called the 2nd amendment. Exercise your rights...you have the right to BEAR arms. use it. Besides, before texas could get its act together to pass it, they will no longer function as a government. Perhaps you will be a part of the new government after this one collapse in on its own stupidity. I really dont think you have long to wait.

I already knew that Obama was just another sock puppet for the oligarchy when I wrote my snarky rant. I'm not feeling particularly 'stimulated' by the so-called 'stimulus' bill that Obama pushed for, which is just another huge theft by government, and ultimately will not help the economy - it's just a payoff for those who supported him. I already knew that Obama and the Democrats have no real solutions to offer.
To the second Anonymous commenter: Do you open carry in Texas? It's not currently 'legal'. I personally don't have the time and money to start a test case and take it all the way to the Supreme Court. Do you?
